After September
My friend Yay and I are planning to collaborate again in writing a new script. Our last work together resulted in a beautiful screenplay entitled Kyoudai, which we entered in the Cinema One Originals 2007 competition. This time, the manager of one of the most in-demand young actresses today asked us to write a material that will be set in the backdrop of the World Trade Center bombing in 2001. He promised to help us pitch the story to GMA Films.
The said actress is Iza Calzado. Other cast that we have in mind are Robin Padilla, Sunshine Dizon and Dennis Trillo. It will be the story of four lives changed forever by that fateful day in September. The treatment we are planning to adopt is like that of the movie Closer, which featured Julia Roberts and Jude Law.
